Full-court layup drill with one ball that runs from both ends without stopping. Trains quick outlets and getting the ball up the floor with passes, not dribbles.
Setup: Four lines, one under each basket and one on the same sideline in each half. Start with three players: one under the basket with the ball and one on each wing.
After each layup:
  • The shooter stays under that basket and takes the next ball out of the net
  • The passer from under the basket goes to the sideline line in that half
  • The outlet runs the next layup the other way
Coaching points:
  • Snap every pass
  • Sprint the floor every trip
Count the layups and set a team goal. Hoiberg's teams go for 29.
