The shoe performs well in most aspects but isn't a huge improvement from last year's model.

Jordan Jumpman 2021 Review

Pros:
Cushioning is responsive but bouncy
Materials performed well
Cons:
Bit of a downgrade from the 2020 model
Traction pattern could be better

Performance of the Jordan Jumpman 2021:

Most reviewers agree that the materials of the Jumpman 2021 feel and work surprisingly well despite being a bit of a downgrade from the previous year's model. Depending on your playstyle, the responsive but low-profile cushioning may or may not suit your game. Reviewers also agree that the fit is exceptional. There were no issues with the support of the shoe. The upper, toe box, and heel counter do a good job of keeping you secure. Overall, the Jordan Jumpman 2021 is still a pretty good budget model if you can get your hands on a pair.

The forefoot cushioning makes this a great shoe for guards, but allows it to be versatile enough for bigs that like to use their quickness. If price isn't an issue, it's a really good shoe.

Compared to the 2020 model, the Jumpman 2021 is a slight downgrade in terms of cushion and traction. However it is a big step up in terms of fit. For a budget shoe, it's shockingly good.

The traction on these is almost as good as on the Jordan 34. The only difference is that the traction of the 34s was multidirectional.

The pattern is a bit of a disappointment, but it does get the job done. I feel like the 2020 model had better traction.

There is a decent-sized forefoot Zoom Air bag that provides an unreal amount of court feel.

It's a little bit denser and firmer than the previous year's model but the forefoot has a large Zoom Air unit which is very noticeable underfoot.

The materials feel like a downgrade from the Jumpman 2020. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how well they worked.

The shoe has a nice combination of materials for being a budget shoe, especially on the upper.

The internal heel counter isn't the best, but it gets the job done.

It has a similar side panel to the Jordan 35, but I feel it could've gone higher up the side of the shoe to provide more support. It still gets the job done.

I sized down half a size because of the wider last in the Performance Fit version of the shoe but wasn't able to test the Standard fit version.

The fit is amazing and a large step up from the 2020 model.

Not recommended for outdoors with the thin rubber on the traction.

Width of the Jordan Jumpman 2021:

Wide footers will be safe going true to size in the Performance fit version, I can't confirm for the Standard version.
slightly narrow

If you have narrow feet, go true to size. Otherwise, I suggest going half a size up.

Non-wide footers should be good with going down half a size in the Performance Fit version.
½ size small

I only needed to go up half a size versus needing to go up a whole size on the Jumpman 2020.
