Traction
Translucent full-length herringbone rubber. Sticky on clean courts, dust-sensitive, and tends to improve after breaking in.
8.9
Cushion
Forefoot Zoom Air with Phylon midsole. Low, springy and responsive with decent impact protection and good court feel.
8.6
Materials
Thin mesh upper with synthetic shroud and one-bootie construction. Feels cozy and premium but may lack long-term strength.
7.8
Support
One-bootie upper with solid heel lockdown and no outrigger. Good linear stability but weaker lateral containment on explosive cuts.
9.0

Generally true to size with a snug one-bootie fit. Some players find it slightly long; Asia last offers more width.

I think the Jordan Jumpman Hustle is a great performer, especially after you break-in the traction a little bit.

The Jordan Jumpman Hustle is super comfortable, very lightweight and the shoe won’t break the bank. Traction and cushioning are great but support could be better.

The traction started off a little disappointing but got much better over time.

Simple herringbone traction works well but tends to clog up a little on dusty courts.

Traditional herringbone traction is used and sometimes it’s the simple things are what work best.

I don't like the look of the synthetic shroud that covers the upper. The mesh material is nothing special, but performs well.

The lockdown and containment are fantastic but there is no real outrigger and the base could be a little wider.

No heel slippage, no side-to-side movement, and good containment.
 More details
Support is decent overall, but explosive lateral movements can be a bit problematic because of the stretchy upper material.
