Traction
Multidirectional traction pattern with a sticky rubber compound. Excellent grip on clean courts but dust-sensitive and needs light wiping.
8.1
Cushion
Full-length Cushlon 3.0 with a forefoot Zoom unit. Low, responsive court feel with good forefoot pop but thin heel impact protection.
7.8

Engineered mesh upper with synthetic overlays and plasticky panels. Good value at $115, with decent durability from the overlays despite a slightly cheap feel.

Outdoor
Soft rubber outsole with shallow grooves. Not recommended for outdoor use due to limited durability and fast wear on rough courts.

For $115, the Jordan Heir Series 2 is a solid guard shoe. It offers amazing court feel, strong lockdown, and a responsive, flexible ride. Traction is good on clean courts, but it struggles with dust and outdoor durability. I enjoyed playing in them.

For $115, the Jordan Heir Series 2 is a very solid performer. The cushion is decent, and traction and support are strong. The main drawback is the narrow fit, which can cause discomfort for wide feet. If you can fit, it's worth buying.
 More details
The Jordan Heir Series 2 is a better version of the first model. It feels more fluid with improved traction, cushioning, and support. There are still things to tweak, but it's a solid evolution.

The Jordan Heir Series 2 has a great outsole, but the high drop-in midsole, lack of ground feel, and narrow women's last make it a confusing product. It may work casually for very slender feet but fails as a performance shoe.

The traction bites very well on clean courts. It picks up dust fairly quickly, so keep wiping. Not great on very dusty floors, but solid otherwise.

Traction is super good. It performs great on clean and moderately dusty courts. It picks up dust but rarely loses grip. Worst case, I had a very small slide to a stop.

The traction's great. Needs a light wipe sometimes, but grips well and is a definite upgrade over the last model.

The outsole is the best part. Traction is consistent, wipes down easily, and it surprised me with indoor durability.

The cushioning gives a phenomenal court feel. You're very low to the ground with soft step-in comfort from Cushlon 3.0, but hard landings lack impact protection.

The cushion is solid. Full-length Cushlon with a forefoot Zoom gives good impact protection and forefoot bounce. The heel can have an initial clunk depending on how you land.
 More details
The cushioning is Cushlon 3.0, thin and low to the ground. There's a forefoot Zoom that provides impact protection but isn't very springy.

The cushioning is soft and bouncy at first, but the drop-in setup feels floppy, and it packs down too much.

The upper uses mesh with lots of overlays. Materials feel a bit cheap, but conform and should be durable thanks to the overlays.

The materials are solid for the price. Mesh upper with thick fuse and synthetic overlays. Tongue is padded and comfortable. I have no complaints about quality.

Materials are mostly textiles with plasticky panels and a suede-like synthetic toe. Overall, the materials are good for basketball, even if not great.

Support was solid. Internal heel counter and padding provided excellent heel containment. Rubber overlays helped with lateral movements. I had no heel slippage during play.

Support is solid. The midfoot caging and firmer side panels provide good lateral containment. The internal heel counter feels more substantial.

The lateral flange and rubber wrap provide containment and stability. But the drop-in midsole is torsionally floppy and introduces wobble.

The fit is snug and narrow with a tight toe box and virtually no dead space. The lateral overlays can dig into the pinky area for wider feet and cause occasional discomfort.

The fit is snug and low volume. My left shoe crushed my foot and didn't break in because the upper is stiff plastic.

The outsole rubber is soft with shallow grooves. I wouldn't recommend this for outdoor use. The traction and rubber won't hold up well.
