Cushion
Full-length Cushlon 3.0 with a forefoot Zoom unit. Plush and protective with great impact protection, but feels mushy and less responsive.
7.7
Materials
Textile base with moulded overlays and a mesh tongue. Provides structure but feels plasticky, creases easily, and has limited ventilation.
8.5

Moulded upper and external heel counter with secure heel lock. Good lateral containment, but the midsole is soft and can compress, reducing stability.
8.0

These might be Nike's best basketball shoes right now. They nail the midsole, lockdown, and traction. Minor quibbles are the slight length, compression holes, and outdoor durability.

The A'Two is a solid performer. It's super comfortable with plush cushioning and good lockdown, but watch out for dusty courts and potential heel instability due to the soft midsole. At $145, it's a bit pricey. On sale, it's a great buy.

The Nike A'Two is a very comfortable, fun shoe that performs well. Traction and support are solid, and cushioning offers excellent impact protection. But the midsole is mushy, materials feel a bit cheap, and it's not ideal for outdoor play or guards wanting quickness.

The traction was a pleasant surprise. It grips very well, and after one wipe, it still held up on the dust test.

The traction is awesome. On clean courts, it bites super hard and gives very hard stops. It picks up dust on dusty courts, so you'll need to wipe more often.

The traction is really nice. It bites hard on clean courts. Dust performance is okay, but it can be hard to wipe off once it picks up dust.

The materials are okay. A textile base with a moulded overlay feels plasticky but provides structure and flexibility. The tongue is mesh and adequately padded.

The moulded upper feels a bit cheap for the price. It creases easily, and ventilation is limited despite mesh panels.

Support is excellent. External heel counter and bulky padding lock the heel down. The top-loaded shank gives rock-solid midfoot stability.

The lockdown is solid, and the heel feels locked in. The cushion is very soft, though and can lead to over-compression, which may affect heel stability on heavy landings.

The fit locks the heel in really well. Tongue padding prevents lace irritation. It feels a bit long and can bunch in the forefoot, but that breaks in.

Not the most durable for outdoor use. Narrow tread and a 0.4 g loss on the sander suggest it won't hold up forever outdoors.

If you have a medium foot, go true to size. Narrow feet can go down a half size for a tighter, performance fit.
