The herringbone traction pattern performs very well on clean courts but the narrow grooves pick up dust easily and need to be wiped now and then.
The full-length Boost foam cushioning is partly caged, feels great, and provides an excellent balance of comfort and responsiveness.
The mesh materials are thin, flimsy, and feel a little underwhelming for a $160 shoe, but they get the job done performance-wise.
The support is good with a wide base, no heel slippage, and torsional rigidity thanks to a plastic shank.
Overall, the Adidas BYW 2.0 is a great performer, especially if you are looking for a more responsive Boost cushioning setup.
