Summary of 2 Expert Reviews:

The Zoom Zero Gravity is one of Jordan Brand's most affordable performance shoes and provides a lot of bang for your buck! The traction pattern works well on all surfaces - even outdoors. The Phylon midsole and Zoom unit in the forefoot don't give you a ton of impact protection but you get a very responsive court feel - great for quick players. The materials feel cheap in-hand but they require very little break-in time and get the job done. The addition of outriggers and a wider base would have made this shoe more stable but the reviewers didn't experience any issues with stability or support. At $100 retail, the Jordan Zoom Zero Gravity is a very solid performer - especially if you are okay with a rather firm cushioning setup.

For $100 you get a solid performance hoop shoe. The Zoom Zero Gravity features great traction and solid materials - the only downside is the firm cushioning.

Traction of the Jordan Zoom Zero Gravity:

9.5
Jalique Gabay [weartesters.com]
It took a while to ever feel the need to wipe - no matter the surface.
9.0
RicheeKim
The traction is really, really nice. Even on dusty courts, I didn't have any issues.

Cushion of the Jordan Zoom Zero Gravity:

9.0
Jalique Gabay [weartesters.com]
The top-loaded Zoom unit in the forefoot and the Phylon midsole provide decent court feel, response, and a bit of impact protection.
7.0
RicheeKim
I couldn't feel the Zoom unit in the forefoot very much and the bounce was very minimal. Impact protection comes from the Phylon midsole and it's not great - after playing for hours my feet felt more fatigued than in other shoes.

Materials of the Jordan Zoom Zero Gravity:

9.0
Jalique Gabay [weartesters.com]
The basic textiles and synthetics require minimal break-in time and check all the boxes performance-wise but they definitely don't look premium.
8.0
RicheeKim
The almost full-Mesh upper materials are pretty decent and get the job done. They could feel a little more premium though.

Support of the Jordan Zoom Zero Gravity:

9.0
Jalique Gabay [weartesters.com]
The base is rather narrow but I didn't have any issues with lateral stability. The heel counter eliminated any potential heel movement.
8.0
RicheeKim
The heel counter prevents any heel slippage and the caging in the forefoot kept me from sliding on the footbed. Lateral stability was surprisingly good, considering the rounded outsole that doesn't really have any outriggers.

Width of the Jordan Zoom Zero Gravity:

regularly wide
RicheeKim
The forefoot might be a little tight for wide-footer.
