Lockdown and containment are supportive
Cons
Rigid ankle collar
Materials require a break-in time
Best Suitable For: This shoe is best for players who like supportive uppers.
Category Performance Ratings
7.9
Traction
Wide gentle herringbone pattern with standard rubber. Sticky on clean courts, slight slippage on very dirty floors, generally consistent and dust resistant after play.
8.3
Cushion
Dense Phylon-like foam with a forefoot Zoom unit only. Springy forefoot and decent impact protection but lacks heel Zoom and feels less bouncy than prior model.
7.8
Materials
Textile mesh upper with synthetic overlays. Breathable and soft after break-in, but initially can feel plasticky or cheaper to the touch.
8.7
Support
Stiff heel counter with carbon plate and outsole wrap. Delivers strong lockdown and torsional stability with secure containment, though heel can feel restrictive.
8.2
Fit
Mostly true to size with a snug, secure fit and good heel lockdown. Some prefer a half size up for extra length or room.
50%
Outdoor
Chunky outsole rubber suitable for outdoor play. Holds up well on outdoor courts if you avoid dragging your feet.
small
large
Sizing
Runs true to size for most players. Consider a half size up if you need extra length or have very wide feet.
narrow
wide
Width
Fits narrow to regular feet well. Wide footers may need to size up for room though some find it wide-foot friendly.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing in the Nike LeBron NXXT Genisus. The only downsides are the shoe's short length and restrictive heel. Everything else performed exceptionally well.

The Nike LeBron NXXT Genisus is a good basketball shoe, but not at the retail price. The traction is consistent, and the support and fit feel secure. I wish they kept the heel Zoom bag, though.

I had an ankle injury last season and I find the fit of this shoe great . My feet feel safe and I can jump without any concerns . This shoe has really good traction and feels bouncy , on the other hand it lacks court feel and the materials need a little break in . For its size , the shoe is really light . I think it’s not the best option for that price but I really enjoy playing in them
