Reviewers were split on the performance of the traction but were in agreement that the rubber compound is fairly solid.
The cushion is very minimal, especially in the forefoot of the shoe. However, reviewers did agree that there is a bit of impact protection provided in the heel of the shoe.
Support and lockdown on the shoe are also very good. Puma did a good job of layering extra materials on the lateral side of the shoe to help keep your foot contained. The heel counter is also solid and does a good job to help you feel secure.
The materials are not the best quality but do get the job done and feel quite comfortable on foot.
All in all, the Puma Court Rider is a decent new offering by Puma basketball. It will be a shoe to consider if you don't mind minimal cushioning and like a shoe that feels low to the ground.
