Traction
Spiral/circular traction pattern with translucent rubber. Excellent grip on clean courts but dust-sensitive and needs occasional wiping.
7.5
Cushion
Very low-profile firm foam setup. Extremely responsive and close-to-court but provides minimal impact protection.
8.2
Materials
Knit one-bootie upper with synthetic overlays. Lightweight and supportive but overlays feel stiff or cheap until broken in.
8.9
Support
Internal heel counter, forefoot outrigger, speed plate and wide base. Provides solid lateral stability and torsional control.
9.2
Fit
True to size with a snug sock-like fit. Excellent lockdown but feels narrow initially and stretches after break-in.
33%
Outdoor
Thick, semi-deep rubber compound on the outsole. Outdoor durability is mixed; ok for limited sessions but some warn against outdoor play.
small
large
Sizing
Runs true to size for most players. Go true to size; consider half size up only if very wide.
narrow
wide
Width
Fits narrow to regular feet best. Feels constricting at first and may bother wide footers until the upper stretches.

The Curry 4 feels super-duper responsive. As one of the lightest shoes on the market, it provides great traction, tight fit, and low-to-the-ground feeling which makes it the perfect shoe for quick guards.

The Under Armour Curry 4 is a great shoe for guards! It is a fast and responsive shoe, and it is very light. The traction was amazing on clean courts, and it was pretty good on dust as well. The shoe lacks cushioning, but if you want a responsive shoe with amazing court feel, this shoe is for you! The support was pretty good because of the upper, and it locks you in so your foot doesn’t move off the footbed. The upper is also pretty good, it is thin and breathable, but it takes time to break in.
